2018 Margarita Fest

Margarita Fest is the first liquor based event of its scale and kind in Michigan. LEPFA and City Pulse came together with the idea of the event and a love of margaritas and after a couple years of planning put on the first event in 2018. The event was wildly successful and sold out a week before the event.

The vision for the event was a fun summer kick-off margarita tasting party with a Jimmy Buffet vibe. I ran with it, illustrating the iconic parrot that has made Jimmy Buffet fans known as “parrot heads” and a fun splashing margarita. See if you can find the lost shaker of salt in the designs…

All illustrations, layout, infographics, and photography were designed and shot by me.

Festival Guide for the 2016 Common Ground Music Festival

The festival guide for Common Ground Music Festival has information necessary for attendees, including the lineup for each day, safety information, and a map of the festival grounds. Advertisement space was saved for sponsors, and the design was adjusted when need be to make sure all the ads could be included.

I was the sole designer of this festival guide, and collaborated with the marketing director and sponsorship coordinator of the festival production company to ensure its completion.

2017 Grand Concert Series

The Grand Concert Series returned in the summer of 2017 for the third year, bringing jazz, blues, and R&B to the riverfront. The Grand Concert Series is comprised of Jazz on the Grand, Blues on the Grand, and a new addition this year of R&B on the Grand. The City Market and LEPFA have enjoyed working with local organizations, including the MSU College of Music, and T. Rose Inc, to give back to the community and provide more entertainment options for Greater Lansing residents.

All layout & infographics were created by me. The majority of the photography within the recap report was taken by me. For 2 of the 8 events, I coordinated with outside photographers to ensure the event was photographed.
